Learning how to take care of your dog in hot weather is important if they are to enjoy the summer safely.
It is also really important to prevent overheating in general. Many dogs are at risk but especially those with breathing issues because dogs can only loose heat to any significant level by panting. Short nosed dogs are at a much higher risk of developing heat stroke. Obese dogs and those with other breathing problems are also at higher risk.
